Also partly due to a Lifehacker post decided today to try using Yahoo as my main search engine. I have been a dedicated Google fan for a long time, and I still like Google better, but I have been recently concerned (perhaps overly so) about Google's monopoly on my personal information. I use Gmail for all my email, Google Bookmarks for bookmarks, Picasa for pictures, Blogger for blogs, Youtube for videos, and Google Web Search for all searching of the Internet. This means that Google knows an incredible lot about me. Information they might like to sell someday. I also am planning on trying out Bing, Microsoft's new replacement of Live Search, as I have heard some good things about it (even though it's an acronym for "But it's not google.")
So, Firefox is fast dropping from place of favor among browsers, I am switching from Google Search, and considering trying out a Microsoft product by my own free will. Am I going crazy?

If you are, I am, too.
I saw some stuff about Bing. Apparently it stands for 'But It's Not Google.' I don't use Google Search, though. I use Scour (it searches Yahoo!, Google and Microsoft Live, at once--and pays you based on point system). It's pretty good, and I haven't had too many problems with it.
I still use Firefox because of the extensions, but I find myself using Chrome or Opera more. I had Safari for while a year or so ago, but it was so big I couldn't stand it. I haven't tried the beta yet.
So, are you going crazy? Maybe. But, who cares? Sometimes going crazy is fun, and you get to download cool new stuff!
I should have added that I also plan on using Dogpile, similar to Scour, but it adds Ask into the mix. The only problem with those is that I think you can only add them to the Firefox search bar, maybe Opera, I haven't tried yet. Safari is only Google or Yahoo.
Totally off subject, this is why Wave will be awesome. I love how any posted material becomes a conversation.
